Lemonade

Description

This Spalted Maple vase was originally created as a practice piece to master the art of cutting hollow forms. Two pieces of maple, each with unique features and hollows, were joined together like bookends and then cast with resin. The end result was a stunning piece with symmetrical seams running down both sides. It needed something more and it could be more.

We had to approach it with creativity and see it as an opportunity to transform it into something even more exceptional and eye-catching.
